MILKING SYSTEM HYGIENE

Alkali detergents only clean, they can not sterilize the system, plus they are harder to rinse. Alkali chlorinated detergents on the other hand, can both clean and sterilize the system. Neither alkali nor alkali chlorinated products can clean calcifications(which happens over time because of water lime) Incomplete or wrong usage of acidic detergents can trigger microbic problems over time. The biggest and most common mistake while using acidic detergents is using them singlehandedly. lgnorence and financial reasons causes wrong and incomplete uses of acidic detergents and this in turn causes much bigger problems for establishments over time.

ALKALI, CHLORINATED, LIQUID CLEANING PRODUCT

  • Contains cleaning substances which can cl ean milk oil and protein residues on medium hardness washing waters and used with 0.5o/o concantration. Contains chlorinated compounds which dissolves milk proteins easily. This way cleaning can be done with less consumption and microbial growths in milk residues can be effectively thwarted.

  • Less consumption leads to lesser financial costs and also environmental damage is lessened due to less packing wastes

LOW FOAM , ALKALI, LIQUID CHLORINATED CLEANING PRODUCT

  • Used for cleaning and hygiene of closed milking systems and milk tanks.

  • Contains highly effective cleaning substances which can clean milk oil and protein residues on medium hardness washing waters and used with 0.5°/o concantration.

  • Less consumption leads to lesser financial costs and also environmental damage is lessened due to less packing wastes

  • Contains potassium hydroxide which can prevent the product from freezing on cold weathers

  • Contains polycarboxylate, which when applied, forms a protective layer that prevents corrosion. Especially, prevents aluminum kettles from being tarnished. (Unlike chlorinated products)

  • After aplication, even without a proper rinsing, does not spoil milk and is not a risk for human health. Chlorinated products on the other hand must be properly washed because residues from chlorinated products are hazardous to human health and are carcinogenic.

  • Can not be used with acidic products. Is irritant for skin and eyes when undilluted. Should be used with protective glasses, gloves and masks.

In milking procedures, usually artesian water is used. For various reasons, bacterias like E.Coli, can easily infect artesian wells. No matter how hygienic the establishment is, no matter wh ich detergents are used to clean the equipment, if the artesian wells are infected with E.Col you can not ensure complete hygiene of !he milking system because rinse water is infected. Thus, at next milkin the milking system and the milk gets infected and infection starts to spread from cow to cow. For Closed milking systems: 0.5-1.5%, conc. {depending on hardness of water)

• With abovementioned ratios, ND 13 disinfects the water used for clear rinsing. After this process no other rinsing are required as there is no harmful residual materails from ND 13. Th is procedure doesn’t require rinsing and is completely hygienic and eco-friendly.
• Peracidic acids are oxidative substances thus it releases the oxygen, and ensures maximum disinfection effect in the fırst 1O minutes
• ND 13 has a sharp vinegar smell. On milking systems, can be used by hand or by NETA dosing pumps.
• The preexisting minerals in !he water reduces the effectiveness of peracidic acid. For !his reasons if hard water is used, ND 13 ratio should be increased by 1 %
• Can be used to disinfect drinking waters of animals also in order to prevent mossiness in the system. Has a wide range of usage from bacterias and viruses to fungi.
• in order to prevent spreading of diseases from cow to cow by milking clusters, the c lusters must be washed with ND 13 solution and can be used again without needing rinsing.
